[Mr. Lee Ben-soo] Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of South Korea came. The talks were about more cooperation in the reconstruction of Iran. Three [officials] of Lebanon's Hezbollah came. They defended their conflicts with Amal and considered themselves defenders. I said that I consider war to be ultimately harmful. They cannot prepare for a long war, and we only have access through Syria, and Syria's policy is not to strengthen Hezbollah against Amal; In addition to the fact that the bloody differences between the Shiites will prevent the future unity of the Shiites against the rivals.

Mr. [Alireza] of Alevi descent came. He called for the strengthening of the fronts and asked for a consultation order and gave warnings about the affairs of the country. Dr. Velayati came. Negotiations and decisions were made about American hostages and Lebanon issues. Although we have no involvement and responsibility in the issue of hostages, they expect a lot from us because of our influence in Lebanon.

In the evening, the Economic Council had a meeting. A decision was made about the price of goods and the addition of workers' salaries. The discussion of currency policy was raised, but it remained unfinished. They were my guests for dinner. I came home
