Memoirs of Akbar Hashemi – February 13, 1983

I went to the assembly early in the morning. We had a public meeting. Several bills were approved. The representatives are worried about the failure of the attack and protest to the army and the command. I spoke about the war and the future while breathing for the audience who were disabled from the war and the literacy movement.  In his speech before the order, the representative of Mahabad protested the IRGC's behavior towards the people of Kurdistan. It was strongly protested by the representatives. His letter of credit has not been approved yet, and this made some people think of opposing it.  

I had several meetings in the afternoon and in the evening I had a conversation with [Kamal Kharazi], the head of Pars News Agency, who is also responsible for war propaganda, and I explained the war propaganda line. The Iraqis exaggerate our casualties with an unacceptable exaggeration. Mr. Sayad [Shirazi] came, he was going to the front, he told his complaints and explained his future plans. not bad At night, we had a meeting of the central council of the [Islamic Republic] party. The differences between the two economic visions were discussed in the party and the government.
