So far, no bill or plan has taken this much time in the parliament and it seems that it will not get anywhere. Due to the lack of confidence in the Imam's approval, the Guardian Council may prevent its approval.
In the afternoon, Mr. [Ali] Kazemi [Momundi], the representative of the family [of Delfan], came and asked for help regarding Mr. Hikmat, who is in Syria, and because of the lack of confidence expressed by our ambassador in Syria, his daughter has been banned from leaving. I told Mr. [Khosro] Tehrani to let them. The dispute resolution committee of Isfahan factories came and asked for help to remove work obstacles, including the directive of the National Industries Organization. Mr. [Mortaza] Katirai also came to the consultation to restore the rights of the parliament employees. In the evening, the top staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs came and gave a report and I spoke for them. Mr. [Asadullah] Lajurdi, the representative of the Revolution Prosecutor's Office, came to the airport and talked about the luggage that was sent out by the security officials.
A group of the officials of the Isfahan Literacy Movement came, but they did not succeed in visiting the Imam. They agreed to meet me. At night, we participated in a meeting where the secretaries of the Islamic Republican Party came from the cities. Mr. Khamenei and I gave a speech and the congregational prayer was read. A group of valid Friday imams were also there. Then we had a consultation meeting about the staff and officials of the Algerian statement office. Decisions were made and we discussed the war and dealing with the Tudeh party. Today we received news that Iraq has hit several of our radar stations in the south. It is bitter news. We had dinner in Mr. Khamenei's office.
