I sent the children to school early in the morning and went to the assembly. The bill of the Ministry of Health and Medicine, which came back from the Guardian Council, was brought up. Because the ministers of health and science were against it, the work became difficult and we remained silent for a month. The continuation of the discussion was on the land reform plan. Before the order of Mr. [Mahdi] Tayeb [Nain's representative], he attacked the Ministry of Commerce and Mr. Pourastad. In the afternoon, we had a meeting with Engineer Taheri about the party center of representatives. A group from the Shemiran Committee had come and were worried about the uncertain future of the committee. I comforted them.

I read the reports until the evening. Mr. [Gholamreza] Aghazadeh, the Minister of Counselor, came. He consulted about the cooperation of the cloth and the elimination of stall vendors, and he talked about the differences between the [Islamic Republic of] Bandar Abbas party and Imam Juma there, and about the differences within the cabinet. Then Mr. [Abbas Ali] Akhtar came and told some cases of contradictions.

At night, there was a meeting of the Central Council of the Party [Islamic Republic] in Mr. Khamenei's office. I taught positions and we had other discussions. I came home late at night. We had a guest. It was reported that two ships were targeted by Iraqis in Khormusi yesterday and one was sunk.
