It rained last night until morning. I went to the office at seven o'clock. I reviewed my speech until almost nine o'clock in the morning; But superficially and in a hurry. Mr. [Masoud Roghani] Zanjani, [Head of the Program and Budget Organization] came. We went to the parliament [to present the 1372 budget bill]. The parliamentarians gave a warm welcome. My speech lasted about two and a half hours. I also had a cold. I was settled in the morning. I had not eaten breakfast. I gave enough explanations about the fifty four trillion budget.

After the speech, the representatives had many references. We had a short meeting with Mr. [Ali Akbar] Natiq [Noori, Speaker of the Islamic Council]. I returned to my office at noon. Mr. Natiq complained about the lack of attention paid by radio and television to his news and the parliament.

I did the work till night. At six in the afternoon, a meeting of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution was held. Ahmad Agha also participated for the first time. A decision was made about the duties of the women's social council and the advisory commission. We had dinner and I came home.
