Mr. [Abbas Ali] Bahari and Mr. [Ali] Marfizadeh, representatives of Sari and Khorramshahr, came. Mr. Behari complained to the other representative of Mazandaran that he is dealing with the line officials and Mr. Marfizadeh wanted help for the affairs of the war veterans. In the evening, I spoke for the family members of the martyrs of construction jihad in the parliament. Mr. [Gholamreza] Aghazadeh came and asked about the purchase of Tau missiles - which are 30% more expensive than the original price. We consulted with a friend. He believes that it is better to buy some.

In the evening, the Supreme Council of Defense had a meeting. In this meeting, we had a discussion about the division of enlisted soldiers between the army and the IRGC, but it was not finished. A decision was made about the major defense items and we heard the report of Quds Panj operation that the IRGC is conducting in the Hor region. After the meeting, I gave a TV interview.

After the prayer, we had a meeting with Mr. [Ayatollah] Khamenei. They had hesitated because of the opposition of [Colonel Hoshang Sediq] the commander of the Air Force in giving weapons to Libya against SAM missiles. I convinced them that we should give and SAM missile is very important for us. This missile is useful in hitting very high targets that are disturbing in urban warfare these days. Ayatollah Khamenei described their talks with the Imam today. The Imam said that it is not expedient for Mr. Engineer [Mirhossein] Mousavi to step down as Prime Minister.
