Meeting with Mohsen Nourbakhsh and Ataollah Mohajerani to Consult on an Indictment Case in the Special Court Presided Over by Mohseni Ejei, and Mohajerani's Proposal for His Resignation Following the Issuance of a Non-Prosecution Order by the Judge

It is noteworthy that Ataollah Mohajerani had previously denied the existence of an indictment case related to Hajj funds in a hasty tweet, despite existing records in the General Inspection Organization and the Tehran judiciary.

Hashemi's Interview Regarding the Goals of the Revolution, Particularly the Pre- and Post-Revolution Differences and the Concept of Islamic Governance

Continuation of Hashemi's Warnings Against Involvement of the Producers and Exporters Cooperative of Rafsanjan in Car Imports, and Follow-Up Discussions with Mohammad Hashemi, the Vice President for Executive Affairs

Full Entry of the Day:

I conducted an interview with researchers from the Imam Khomeini Research Institute about the goals of the revolution, the differences before and after the revolution, and the concept of Islamic governance; however, it remained unfinished. My brother Mohammad visited to discuss the costs associated with the funeral of my sister Fatemeh, as well as to clarify the doubts raised regarding the request for car imports by the Producers and Exporters Cooperative of Rafsanjan.

In the afternoon, Mr. Mohsen Nourbakhsh, the Governor of the Central Bank, and Mr. Ataollah Mohajerani, the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, came to consult on resolving the issue surrounding Mohajerani's case regarding the use of funds related to Hajj deposits. They expressed that Mohajerani wishes to delay his resignation until the case is resolved, and he would like to see a non-prosecution order issued before announcing his resignation. The dispute between the press and the judiciary regarding the constitutional issue continues.

In Israel, the parliament has voted to dissolve the Knesset and hold early elections, effectively leading to the downfall of Prime Minister Ehud Barak. Furthermore, plans have been proposed that would prevent the government from transferring land to the Palestinians or signing contracts without parliamentary approval, which has faced challenges. In the United States, the judiciary has ruled that the disputed ballots in Florida, approximately 130,000, should be examined at the request of Al Gore, the Democratic candidate, which George W. Bush opposes. For iftar, the office staff and their families were my guests.
