Meeting with Sheikh Ali Yunusi and Sheikh Ahmad Shafi'i, Minister and Deputy Minister of Intelligence, at Hashemi's Residence to Prevent the Issuance of Judge Aghighi's Ruling in the Special Court Addressing the Accusations Against the Defendants in the Serial Killings Case; Despite Hashemi's Phone Call with Ayatollah Khamenei, the Ruling Was Issued and Delivered the Following Day.

Today, snow fell in Tehran and most cities across the country. Due to the cold and snow, natural gas consumption has surged in many areas, including Tehran, causing a drop in gas pressure and the shutdown of heating devices, leading to numerous complaints. It appears that the Ministry of Oil has neglected to manage gas supplies, as they have diverted gas from power plants to increase household consumption by using diesel and mazut instead.

Most of my time was spent studying, including the draft of the book "Encyclopedia of the Holy Quran" and the book "Imam Ali (AS) in the Words of Hashemi Rafsanjani," which contains many of my statements from Friday prayers and other speeches, as well as the brochure "National Security Strategy" and a report on "America's Star Wars Program and SALT I and II Treaties."

In the evening, Mr. Ali Yunusi and Mr. Ahmad Shafi'i, Minister and Deputy Minister of Intelligence, visited. They expressed concerns regarding the potential content of the ruling in the serial killings case, and I communicated their worries to Ayatollah Khamenei over the phone. They reported on actions taken against several teams of the Mojahedin-e Khalq Organization.

Fati, the head of the Special Diseases Foundation, visited and provided a report on his trip to Austria to attend an awards ceremony for charitable organizations, as well as the knee cartilage surgery performed by Dr. Rezavi in Switzerland; he is recovering well. During today’s Friday prayers, there were severe criticisms regarding the government's economic and cultural shortcomings. In the Friday prayers in Bandar Abbas, statements were distributed opposing the exile of Akbar Ganjī to Bashagard, asserting that the people of Bashagard will not allow their esteemed and loyal region to be disgraced by such an individual, and they have requested a reversal of the exile order.

A strong earthquake measuring 6.9 on the Richter scale struck western India, resulting in significant casualties. Ongoing bombardments of Iraq by the U.S. and the U.K. have been conducted under the pretext of countering anti-aircraft movements over the past two days.
