Fa’ezeh’s bold statements, in which she openly criticized both far-left and far-right extremists, have attracted significant attention.

A group from the Babajan Refinery company came to visit. They said they plan to build a refinery in Mazandaran with foreign investment to process oil from Central Asia and Azerbaijan and also proposed a pipeline to transport the refined products to the south. They have obtained a permit from the Ministry of Oil, but the Natural Resources Department is not providing the land, and they are seeking permission for an oil swap in the north. I felt that their plan was not realistic, except perhaps for the construction of a refinery to supply northern Iran with the needed products. I gave them some advice.

Officials from the Society for the Disabled came by, requesting help with importing special vehicles for the disabled and with employment opportunities. In the afternoon, a group from the Mithaq Cultural Institute visited. They explained some of their artistic and cultural works and asked for assistance in purchasing equipment and promoting their cultural products. They are veterans of the frontlines and have also received support from the Leader. Mr. [Kazem] Najafi Alami, [Secretary of the Joint Commission of the Expediency Discernment Council], visited and pointed out the flaws in the Third Development Plan. He strongly emphasized the need to revive the "Iran 1400" plan. For Iftar, I hosted the staff of the Strategic Research Center [of the Expediency Discernment Council].

The situation with the hijacked Indian plane, which landed in Kandahar, remains unresolved. Neither the Indian government nor the international community seems to be paying much attention; it appears the hijackers are Kashmiri militants. The Russian army has entered part of Grozny, [the capital of Chechnya], and the fighting is intense. The Chechens claim to have inflicted heavy losses on the Russian forces.

In domestic media, the discussion surrounding my entry into the election scene remains a hot topic. The left-wing faction has publicly expressed their dissatisfaction, while the moderates and conservatives are pleased. Fa’ezeh’s bold remarks, in which she fearlessly attacked both the left- and right-wing extremists, have garnered significant attention. In Parliament today, several bills were passed to strengthen the Guardian Council's supervisory role, which has provoked strong objections from the Ministry of Interior and the left-wing faction.
