Continuation of the Progression of Hashemi's Diabetes Condition Accompanied by Frequent Visits from His Trusted Specialist Doctors.

Announcement of Condolences for the Passing of Seyyed Mahdi Rouhani, a Member of the Assembly of Experts.

Meeting with Mohammad Hashemi and Family Regarding Memorial Ceremonies for Their Sister Fatemeh Hashemi in Qom and Nough, Rafsanjan, Including Accounts of Her Last Days.

Full Entry of the Day:

Today, there was good rain in Tehran and many other places, which is expected to continue for several days. I was at my office in Kouchak from 11:30 AM until 4 PM; although I intended to use the pool, I did not swim due to feeling unwell from my diet aimed at lowering my blood sugar, as well as the cold water. I sent a message of condolence for the passing of Seyyed Mahdi Rouhani, a member of the Assembly of Experts.

In the evening, my brother Mohammad and his family came over. They provided explanations regarding the mourning ceremonies for our sister in Qom and Nough. Mohammad Taqi, our worker in Nough, came by with some meat and other items. He recounted that in the last days of Fatemeh's life in Behram, he saw her wanting to go to the home of Mrs. Hashemi, a cousin and sister of Tahereh, and he offered her a ride.

During the ride, she mentioned that she wanted to see them before she died and had helped a poor woman. She expressed that she felt weak throughout her body. He said that after returning from Karbala, he had a dream in which he was flying close to the ground in an airplane, and many people attacked him with loud voices, but they were not visible, and he dispersed them using branches from a green pomegranate tree. He mentioned that a person named Hossein Lotfi was among those instigating the events in Ferdowsiyeh Nough, and that God had taken revenge on him; as his children, wife, and son-in-law had quarreled with him and severely beaten him.

The number of casualties from yesterday's explosion in northern Tel Aviv was reported as 65 injured and two killed. Today, Israel bombed the city of Nablus from the air, interpreted as retaliation for yesterday's events, although Israel claims it was a training aircraft that made a mistake. Ariel Sharon has advised Ehud Barak, the Prime Minister of Israel, to assassinate Yasser Arafat, the President of the Palestinian Authority; it is evident that no one can easily suppress the Intifada.
