The ongoing political consultations and meetings continued, with Ali Larijani this time expressing his dissatisfaction over the validation of the Tehran elections.

Foreign media, especially [BBC Persian Radio], expressed satisfaction with the Supreme Leader's order to validate the Tehran elections. Those who usually questioned the Leader's actions and interpreted them as support for conservatives, this time praised the decision. Mr. Ali Larijani came and explained the process and reasons for the annulment of some ballot boxes in the Tehran elections. The topic of my withdrawal from the elections was also discussed. He, too, expressed dissatisfaction with the Leader’s decision to approve the election results.
