Mr. [Seyyed Mohammad] Mir-Mohammadi, [the Executive Deputy of the Leadership Office], came. He spoke about the state of the elections in Qom, the weakness of the advertising efforts by the Society of Teachers [of Qom Seminary], and his own efforts with numerous speeches among the people; he has been elected from the Qom constituency.

Officials from the Carpet Sellers' Union came. They discussed issues related to carpet exports, including the lack of a specific authority for carpets, declining quality, and the short time allowed for currency return. Mr. [Jalil] Basharati from the Office for Underprivileged Areas [of the Presidency] came. He provided a report on projects, including the road from Qazvin to Ashkourat, through the Alborz mountains, and the road from Jask to Kerman, emphasizing more attention to employment given the decrease in underprivileged villages.

In the afternoon, Mohsen, [the Managing Director of Tehran Metro], came. He reported on the inauguration program for [Line 2] of the metro from Imam Square to Sadoughi Station and spoke about the vote counting process. Mr. [Ahmad] Jannati, [the Secretary of the Guardian Council], came. He mentioned that news of irregularities is coming in and that if significant complaints are received, the Guardian Council will take action. He requested reports from inspectors and complaints sent to the office and election headquarters.

Mr. [Mohyeddin] Haeri Shirazi, the Friday Prayer Imam of Shiraz, came. He raised many issues. He said that to protect young people, social strictness should not be imposed and reported on a disagreement between the IRGC and the Army over Shiraz Air Base, suggesting that there should be tolerance towards the Army.
