Full Text of the Daily Note:

Alireza Rahnama came to seek help regarding issues he has with the bank and a real estate seller due to the collateralization of his house. Mr. [Ahmad] Sidiān Hashemi-Abadani visited just to express affection and readiness for cooperation. He has been critical of the current political, economic, and cultural situation in the country, believing that critics will gradually come to recognize the importance of the Reconstruction Era.

Mr. [Seyyed Mohammad Hassan] Abutorabifard, the representative from Qazvin and head of the Supreme Leader's representation at the University of Tehran, visited. He requested that I be more present at the university and urged that I recommend to the [Constructive] Coalition party to cooperate with the value-driven factions in the Majlis, similar to what occurred with Mr. [Nasratollah] Jahan-Gard's candidacy for the Ministry of Post, Telegraph, and Telephone. He also mentioned the budget constraints faced by the Supreme Leader's office at the university.

In the afternoon, members of the Economic Commission of the Majlis came by. They provided a report on their activities and asked for my intellectual assistance in rescuing the country from recession. I shared thoughts on the necessity of creating a constructive atmosphere and the importance of job creation and economic growth, suggesting that we should utilize part of the surplus currency from oil revenues to inject into the economy for investment and job creation. They generally praised the policies of the Reconstruction Era.

In the morning, Efat was in my office, and in the afternoon, she left for the airport for her Umrah pilgrimage. She was supposed to go last week, but the trip was delayed due to the late arrival of Saudi visas.

The Palestinian Intifada is escalating, and Israel has threatened to attack Damascus and Beirut, which has further fueled the anger of Muslims worldwide. We are witnessing new protests and demonstrations across the globe every day. The UN Security Council condemned Israel's aggression against Palestinians and its use of firearms, labeling it an occupying force, while condemning [Ariel] Sharon's visit to Al-Aqsa Mosque, which sparked the recent events. The European Union canceled actions against Serbia, and Serbia lifted sanctions imposed against Montenegro.
