Consultation with Sheikh Ahmad Jannati Regarding Suspicions of Usury in Off-Budget Resources

Report by Ahmad Marashi on the Spread of Drugs Among Youth in Their City and Regional Insecurity

Observation of the Leader of the Islamic Republic's Objections to the Resolutions of the Expediency Council

Full Diary Entry:

I was working in the Koshk office. Mr. [Ahmad] Jannati, [Secretary of the Guardian Council], called regarding foreign currency allocations sourced outside the budget due to concerns about potential usury, considering the sufficient foreign currency reserves. He sought my opinion and assistance. This issue has been raised in the Guardian Council, where they consider it contrary to Sharia. I provided explanations.

In the evening and at night, relatives came over. Ahmad Aqa Marashi spoke about the spread of addiction to opium and heroin among the youth in Rafsanjan and the insecurity in the region. I spent a lot of time reviewing questions and answers in the Qom seminary and also examined the resolutions of the Expediency Council that had been approved by the Leader with some changes. There are not many verbal corrections, but there are very few substantive changes. I also spent some time reading Imam's lessons on Wilayat al-Faqih in Najaf.
