On December 1, 2020, more than two years ago, I elaborated on the discovery of a forty-year-old mystery. In the oral history interviews I conducted, it was claimed that he was buried in Israel, in the city of Akko.
At that time, this important question came to my mind: how could the transfer of the body have been possible? At a time when the revolutionaries could not even tolerate the existence of the graves of the former regime's executed prisoners, they could not have shown such kindness to Hoveyda's family.
Thus, extensive research began, and I published the results of my investigation along with a photo of Hoveyda's gravestone in a note.
This note was also confirmed once in a program on Voice of America by Ms. Fereshteh Ensha, and tonight, this grave was again addressed in the documentary "Hoveyda."
I hope to unravel other knots of contemporary history in the near future and contribute to revealing the truths of the events of the past half-century in Iran.
