Memoirs of Mohammad Hadi Moftah (son of Martyr Moftah) by Hashemi Rafsanjani:

I still don't feel like writing for him, the deceased...!
I have said that I don't remember the time when I knew my parents but not Hashemi!

I have known him as long as I have lived, and of course I have always loved him.
with ups and downs
Of course!
Hashemi had a strange personality.

I was a child
It was 1972, and I was a five-year-old child!
We were neighbors in Tehran, Golhak, and Hosseini dead end.
with Hashemi and Beheshti.
Every day, they brought Keyhan newspaper to my father's door.
And I have newspaper photos
I cut and stapled them together.
I had made an album for myself when I was a child.
I had put the picture of the king, Farah, and the crown prince on it!

I used to show the king's picture to the elders, and the crown prince's picture, that this is your king and this is our king!

My parents and...
They were laughing, I thought they were cheering me on.
But later I found out that they put it on my childhood account!

The day Mr. Hashemi was released from prison.
(In the same years, he was repeatedly arrested and released, and I have many memories of these arrests and releases, which I will write, God willing)

We went to his house.
The children were happy.
I don't remember Fatima Khanum (Fati in the language of our time)
Oh Faizah, Mrs.
And maybe Mr. Mohsen, who said, "Go get your album and show it to Dad."
I went and brought it.

I showed the album,
I kissed the picture of the king!
And I didn't kiss Farah because she is forbidden!
And I kissed the crown prince too!

Mr. Hashemi laughed.
Maybe he put his hand on me.
He asked, is the king okay?
i said yes
He said, why did you imprison your uncle?
(My uncle was a political prisoner for some time)
I said that the police will arrest the public, the police will arrest the body, but the king is good.

He said, don't the police listen to the king?
I said why
He said, is it possible for the police to have arrested Shah Amotu without an order? ....

He also said other sentences.
And I became a revolutionary!
And in a revolutionary move, I ripped and tore the photo of Shah, Farah, and the Crown Prince....

Many years have passed since then
He was no longer a king or a crown prince!!!
There was a revolution in the country and everyone was in a revolutionary spirit
I remember that two months before his death, I asked Mr. Hashemi:
If you see today the police (or other institutions)
They arrested people that they should not have done and you know who they got orders from
Are you ready with the same revolutionary spirit of the photos of "the orderer"?
tear it?!

I think it is more difficult to remain a revolutionary than to become a revolutionary...
Isn't it like that?/ Contemporary history of Iran
