Is it possible to criticize the Ayatollah?

In our country, is it possible to make a scientific and fair criticism of the late Ayatollah Khomeini's thoughts and actions?

The answer is "No" because if the weaknesses and mistakes of the deceased are pointed out, there is a risk of legal prosecution with the charge of "insulting the Imam" and if some of his capabilities and cleverness are emphasized, with an angry reaction accompanied by insults and accusations. Some of the supporting circles face the overthrow!

Ayatollah Shurmand's followers say that "Hazrat Imam" had a weakness and a mistake that someone wants to criticize him? It is as if according to them, the late Mr. Khomeini was among the "innocent" and his every thought and action was inspired by God!

On the other hand, Ayatollah's staunch opponents also say; Did he basically have the knowledge, understanding and intelligence to be able to talk about his strengths and capabilities? From their point of view, one can mobilize a nation without any knowledge, intelligence and tact, and gather all the fighting groups and figures behind him and uproot the authoritarian military!

Anyway, this sterilizing dualism of thought and thought, which practically binds the hands and feet of critics, as I have written many times, has its roots in the ancient archetype and, in other words, the collective unconsciousness of us Iranians, and as long as we are in its captivity, our condition will not change much.

The fact is that Ayatollah Khomeini, as a person born from the text of the religious tradition, besides his practical and epistemological weaknesses, especially regarding the requirements of the modern world, had a very sharp political and security edge, and no one could match him in understanding the psychology of the Iranian masses.

These two characteristics were the guide for his action and thought to design a complex and unannounced strategy, which was conveyed to his numerous and numerous fans in very simple and trivial terms, and he stirred them up and directed them in the direction of his plans.
