When the Shah met with King Faisal.

Three days after the coup d'état of August 19, on August 22, 1953, Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi, who had fled to Italy after the failure of the first phase of the coup, met and spoke with King Faisal II in Baghdad .
On the same day, it was announced in Tehran that Dr. Mossadegh and his associates would be tried in military courts. This news was printed in newspapers but was lost in the commotion of the Shah's return.
August 22, 1953, was a day when the Shah, with the support of the US and Britain, was returning to Iran. And the people understood: the coup was not just one day; it was the beginning of a new era.
